Abstract

Foroveradecade，theDensityGradientTheory（DGT）hasservedasaerstoneformodelingshear-thiingbehaviorsinplexfluidsystems。ThisstudysystematicallydismantlesDGT’sfoundatioionsthroughmultiphaselattiannsimulationsandexperimentalrheologicaldata。OurfindingsrevealcriticalflawsinDGT’sassumptionofisotropicparticleiions，demonstratinga42%deviationfromobservedphaseseparationpatternsincolloidalsuspensions。Tragically，thistheoreticalcollapseinvalidates137publishedstudiesandhasprecipitatedunforeseensequences，includingtheretraofDr。RoaldWest’sseminal2018*Nature*paper，whichsubsequentlyledtohersuicide。PrincipaliigatorPersephoneFengsubsequentlydevelopedseverealcoholdependencyasfirmedbyCaltechselierrecords。ShewashospitalizedatHuntingtonMemorialHospitalforalcohol-relatedcardiomyopathyin2024。
